These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Resume Coach website, platform, and related services (the "Service") provided by Arkalogy LLC ("Arkalogy," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
Resume Coach provides AI-powered resume analysis tools, including:

To use certain features, you must create an account using Google OAuth or email magic link authentication.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
Users may upload resumes, job descriptions, and other materials ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading User Content, you grant Arkalogy a limited license to:
This license ends when your content is permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have all rights needed to upload and use the content through the Service.
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
AI actions (analysis, rewrites, comparisons) consume credits. Credits have no cash value and are non-refundable.
By subscribing, you authorize Arkalogy and Stripe (our payment processor) to automatically charge the applicable subscription fee using your stored payment method.
You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation prevents future charges; previously billed amounts are non-refundable except under our Satisfaction Guarantee.
If you are not satisfied with your initial subscription purchase, you may contact us at support@resumescoach.com within 14 days of the transaction.
After reviewing your explanation of why the Service did not meet your expectations, we may, at our sole discretion, provide additional credits, personalized assistance, or a refund.
This guarantee applies only to your first billing period and does not apply to renewals or repeat refund requests.

Resume Coach uses artificial intelligence to analyze text and generate suggestions. AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies.
We do not guarantee job interviews, hiring outcomes, ATS results, or any employment-related improvements. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your information as outlined there.
Except for User Content, all intellectual property in the Service—including software, design, trademarks, and generated analytics—is owned by Arkalogy or our licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or harmful activity.
You may request account deletion at any time. Data handling and retention follow the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid during the 12 months prior to the claim (or $50 if you are on the free plan).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arkalogy LLC, its affiliates, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims or damages arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at legal@resumescoach.com. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may initiate arbitration.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding arbitration. Arbitration will be administered by either the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or JAMS, selected at Arkalogy's discretion.
Arbitration will be conducted remotely unless otherwise required.
You and Arkalogy agree that disputes must be brought only on an individual basis. Class actions, class arbitrations, collective actions, and representative actions are not permitted.
Either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court instead of arbitration.
This arbitration agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado and the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA).
These Terms are governed by Colorado law, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms periodically. We will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice when required.
Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
